Baseball Blog-6

It’s the World Series that these two cities have been waiting for such along time.
Cubs last Championship 1908 & Cleveland last Championship 1948. Good luck to both teams.

But this is not why I’m writing.
IT'S THE OUTRAGEOUS TICKET PRICES.
Cleveland is charging over $5,500 for the most expensive ticket. Chicago is charging almost $8,800 for there most expensive ticket. I can’t imagine what the cost of parking or food in the park costs. I’m a Yankee fan and I would not pay that to see them or anybody else or that amount.. Even if they had golden seats and the players escorted me to my seat. The nerve of the organization to charge that and people will pay it. It’s basically robbery with out a gun.

No game is worth that kind of money. The owners are soaking the fans. I paid $1.30 to see a Yankee game when I was a child. In 1977 I paid $23.00 to see an All Star Game at Yankee Stadium. That was a lot then considering at general admission in Yankee Stadium is $23.00 now.

I can sit in the comfort of my home with a big screen tv and snacks and a with snacks and a beverage announcers and be cozy and not be cold watching the game at the park with no announcers. I know it’s exciting to be there. Some people will spend there last dime on the games and won’t eat or play rent for awhile or longer. To me baseball is fun but not for what there charging. Only he rich can pay that so there shut out the average fan who lives and dies with each win or loss.

The should take all the money they make and help the people that need it in those cities more than they do and they’ll still be rich.

Let the games begin along with the bankruptcy .
